Beautiful summers day in London, arrived early this morning, comfortable easy flight with Qantas. No jet-lag at this stage. Kicked off with a full english brunch down at the Teapot Café in Romford market, followed by a couple of pints of Fosters at the Golden Lion with a few mates. Off to Worksop tomorrow. Great to be back here, the old place has changed, but the people are still the same.

To me it is all about understanding your customer, and tailoring your offering to suit them. As a customer and a human being, all I ask is that I am treated with courtesy and respect.  If I feel that I have been understood, and my needs appreciated, I will always be a loyal customer. Well done the Germans, you deserved the 4-1 win, and the fact that England were appalling should not detract from your glory. OK so we know, the whole world except for FIFA know that Lampard’s shot bounced down over the line, and that would have brought the score back to 2-2. We can talk about what might have happened all day long, but it doesn’t alter the fact, England were rubbish and didn’t deserve to take it to penalties let alone win. Read the rest of this entry »

FIFA President Blatter is an arrogant, meglo-maniac. The penny hasn’t dropped that the fans run the game, not him, not FIFA, the football world couldn’t care less about him and his corrupt mates. Who is he to tell us there is nothing wrong with the Jabulani, when the players are clearly saying there is?  Read the rest of this entry »

Got a great text from a mate of mine in England, ” The World Cup has turned out just like World War Two. The French have thrown in the towel, the Americans turned up late, and the English are left to fight the Germans” and not only that but the Italians have picked the wrong side.
