Having beaten Woden 5-1 earlier this season, the Old Boys might have been expecting an easier work out this morning, but as so often in football, things didn’t quite go that way.
The wet weather sweeping across Southern NSW, meant that this mornings game against Lanyon, was called off. The last time that happened was when we were called the Young Boys, many years ago. And what a way to do it, a great team performance that emulated the Champions League Final a few hours beforehand, where Inter Milan done Bayern Munich 2-0 in Madrid.
